How the Academy version works
CBAT Academy presents an independently developed browser exercise with its own questions, graphics, timing and scoring. The instruction screen explains the current workload before launch; it does not claim to reproduce an official assessment screen or confidential question set.

The study period before questioning shrinks from 24 seconds to 14, and each round asks more follow-up questions per item studied.
How scoring works
The result reflects performance in this Academy module. Accuracy is the main signal for decision tasks, while timing, missed targets, false responses or control error can also contribute where the task requires them. Assessment mode is more suitable for trend comparisons than adjustable practice runs.

Why this becomes difficult
- Different displays use different viewpoints and can reverse apparent left/right relationships.
- Altitude and horizontal position must be integrated simultaneously.
- Moving aircraft add time and direction to an already complex spatial model.
- One misidentified landmark can rotate the entire mental scene incorrectly.

- Infer the third view from two orthographic views.
- Rotate map layouts by 90° and identify each object’s new position.
- Combine plan view with altitude labels into a simple 3D sketch during learning.
